NUMBERS DON'T LIE
ROCKETS 112, RAPTORS 109
The "Ejections" Edition
The Raptors dropped their second game in a row, losing by 3 to the Houston Rockets on Friday night. The 112-109 loss came with their All-Stars Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan in the locker room in the closing minutes as both were ejected for arguing with the officials. Clearly a frustrating night for the Raptors as Kyle Lowry faced off against his former team.
Numbers don't lie, check the scoreboard:
32-13-11 James Harden had his 9th career triple double (third of the season) against the Raptors with 32 pts (11/22 FG), 11 rebounds and 13 assists.
4/19 Kyle Lowry struggled from the field with 4/19 shooting and 4/9 FT. Elbow issues? Who knows, but quite possible.
21 Michael Beasley? Yep, Michael Beasley was the spark off the Rockets bench and had 21 points on 9/12 shooting in 28 minutes.
2 Two ejections from the Raptors tonight as All-Stars Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan both earned two technicals each for arguing with the officials. DeMar was clearly frustrated with the officiating and Lowry's final ejection came with 25 seconds to play.
16/18 Jonas Valanciunas had a solid night with the double double: 16 points and 18 rebounds in 30 minutes.
13 Norm Powell got the start at shooting guard and finished with 13 points in 39 minutes including this nice dunk.

30 Kyle Lowry also turned 30 on Friday. Tough loss, but Happy Birthday @KLow7! Seriously though, how does an NBA official eject Lowry on his birthday?
