Friday's game against the Washington Wizards will be the first 20th Anniversary celebration of the season where the Raptors will bring back their throwback purple uniforms with the ol' red dinosaur.

The Toronto Raptors will play host to the Washington Wizards this Friday, November 7 in the first of seven 20th Anniversary Nights presented by Air Canada. The team will wear the original road purple jersey for the first time since May 4, 1999.
Former Raptors Alvin Williams and Antonio Davis will be attendance on Friday night for the throwback night. The purple in the Raptors uniforms has been non-existent for a few seasons but now makes its triumphant return for the 20th anniversary of the Raptors franchise. Expect to see these throwback jerseys for a few nights this season. Oh, and to top it off...Skeelo will performing at the half.
