The NBA All-Star Sunday Hangover
That's a wrap. Another 2014 All-Star weekend is in the books and Sunday night's All-Star game did not disappoint one bit. It was a high-scoring affair and was a close match between the East and West until the last minute of play. The Cavs' Kyrie Irving took home the MVP honours for the East in their 163-155 All-Star game win. DeMar DeRozan made his All-Star debut and joined Paul Millsap and John Mall as first time All-Star selections on Sunday.All-Star Sunday Night - The NBA All-Star Game

It looked like DeMar's first All-Star bucket was going to be an alley-oop dunk from Joakim Noah. But DeMar shook off his nerves and bounced it off the glass for the first two of his eight on Sunday night. The first time All-Star checked in early in the second quarter and scored a quick six points before the half. As a first time All-Star, you normally don't get a lot of minutes and you leave it to the veteran All-Stars, Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony and Kyrie Irving to get the bulk of the minutes. DeMar was efficient in his playing time and looked comfortable on the floor.
Hopefully it will be the first of many all-star appearances for DeMar. It means a lot to the city of Toronto and Canada to have a Raptor back in this game since Chris Bosh in 2010.
