Well, it didn't take long for former Raptors General Manager, Bryan Colangelo to put his two cents on the recent seven player deal between the Toronto Raptors and the Sacramento Kings. Colangelo gave his input on former Raptor Rudy Gay and the move made by the Sacramento Kings.

“I put a high premium on talent and character, and Rudy Gay has an abundance of both,” said Bryan Colangelo, the former Raptors general manager who acquired Gay from Memphis last January in a deal that was widely regarded as a salary dump by the Grizzlies. “Obviously, Pete (D’Alessandro) has a mandate to increase the talent level of his team as opposed to depleting it. This move is a pretty good indication of that.”
Even though Colangelo thinks Sacramento are winners in the recent trade, the vibe around the league are positive reviews for Toronto and their unloading of Rudy Gay's massive contract. The Raptors are now in a good financial position and it also gives the team an opportunity to evaluate the talent they currently have on their roster.
The newest members of the Raptors (Chuck Hayes, John Salmons, Patrick Patterson) will join practice likely on Wednesday with Greivis Vasquez joining the team on Thursday who is headed to New York to deal with his visa. We should be able to get our first look at this new-look roster on Friday when the Raptors play the Sixers at the ACC.
