POUND THE ROCK STARS - On a nightly basis, no matter how good or bad the Raps play, no matter if they blow out a team or if they get blown out and no matter if they win or lose, these are the Raptors with the best 'Pound the Rock' status for the night.

FINAL SCORE:   RAPTORS 97, PISTONS 91    SEASON RECORD: 8W-19L

POUND THE ROCK STAR #1: JOSE CALDERON

LINE:  7 pts, 17 ast, 2 TO 
Four wins in a row. The first four-game winning streak since November 2010. Well, better late than never. And who's been making things click for this Raptors team? The veteran Raptor point guard, Jose Calderon. He finished with 7 points and 17 dimes on the night, just one short of his season-high of 18 assists.  This was Jose's fifth 15+ assist game of the year... teammates got to be happy. 

The Raptors are finally playing 48 minutes of basketball and are actually closing out games. Now it's just time to slowly dig themselves out of a hole and put together more wins.

POUND THE ROCK STAR #2: DEMAR DEROZAN

LINE:  23 pts (10-19), 2 reb

No real surprises here, DeMar DeRozan is making it known that he will be the primary scorer on this team on a nightly basis.  23 points.....with a huge help from his point guard, Jose Calderon.  It's going to be really interesting to see the team dynamic once Kyle and Andrea return.

POUND THE ROCK STAR #3: ALAN ANDERSON

LINE:  16 pts, 3-8 3pt, 3 reb, 2 stl

Alan Anderson backed up his impressive performance from last night with another gem against the Pistons. Anderson scored 12 of his 16 points in the final quarter and is quietly establishing himself as a solid offensive option off the bench and is a great fit at the three spot.

SHOUTOUTS TO THE PISTONS:
GREG MONROE

LINE: 35 pts, 10 reb, 2 ast, 2 stl

It was a career night for Monroe in the loss to the Raptors.  Monroe finished with a career high 35-point performance and grabbed 10 boards.  This was his first 30-point game of the season.
