The Toronto Raptors are hurtin'. A 1-5 start and a few players on the shelf with injuries (Kyle Lowry (ankle), Landry Fields (wrist), Alan Anderson(foot))...not the best way to start. Here's a look at the upcoming schedule for the Raptors:
Toronto Raptors vs. Utah Jazz
Monday, November 12th - 7pm EST
The Utah Jazz are on a four-game East Coast road trip and it all starts in Toronto on Monday night. This will be Utah's first crack at the Eastern Conference and hopefully Toronto can take advantage. It's going to be tough though, Utah has a lot of talented bigs with Millsap, Jefferson and Favors clogging up the middle.
Toronto Raptors @ Indiana Pacers
Tuesday, November 13th - 7pm EST
It's already a rematch against the opponents from the season opener. It hasn't been that long but both teams are already dealing with injuries. The Pacers recently lost Danny Granger for three months (knee) which could work in Toronto's favour on Wednesday night. This is also a second game of a back-to-back for Toronto so it'll be interesting to see if they can come out energized on the road in Indiana.
Toronto Raptors @ Boston Celtics
Saturday, November 17th - 12:30pm EST
The Celtics have always been a tough matchup for the Raptors and this season will be no exception. Sure, the Celtics are still old but they are definitely experienced and have one of the top point guards in the game, Rajon Rondo. Rondo who will cause problems for the Raptors' Calderon/JL3 combo, especially if Lowry will still be out come Saturday.
Toronto Raptors vs. Orlando Magic
Sunday, November 18th - 1pm EST
If there's a winnable game this week, it HAS to be against Orlando. This Magic roster is ugly and could potentially be one of the worst teams in the East on paper. If the Raptors go 0-3 going into this last game, this has to be a game that Toronto can pick up a 'W' at home.
Let's hope Toronto doesn't finish this week with a 1-9 start.
