The Goods: The Toronto Raptors Upcoming Schedule

posted by Romy Aquino
The Raps got their first victory against the Wolves on Sunday, now it's on to the next one, with a two-game West Coast road trip coming up this week.  Has the "Kyle Lowry Era" begun?  Who knows, but it'll be interesting to see if he continues his hot streak this week.  Here's how the week looks for the Toronto Raptors:

Toronto Raptors @ OKC Thunder
Tuesday, November 6th - 8pm EST
If you didn't know already....this game won the NBA Fan Night voting with 45% of the fan vote.  That's right, the Raptors will be getting some NBA TV love when they face off against Kevin Durant and the Thunder on Tuesday night.  Who did they beat out in the Fan Night voting? Magic-Bulls (38%) and Nuggets-Pistons (17%).  Now the fans were most likely voting to see KD and the Thunder than the Toronto Raptors BUT what better stage for this Raptors team to get noticed than on NBA TV?  And to make it even more interesting?  Pulling out an upset win over OKC.

Kyle Lowry vs. Russell Westbrook, this should be a fun matchup.

Toronto Raptors @ Dallas Mavericks
Wednesday, November 7th - 8:30pm EST
The Mavericks are working with a big man combo of Chris Kaman and Brandan Wright so this could be a perfect opportunity for Jonas Valanciunas to get some shine.  Valanciunas has been quiet in the last two games, so hopefully we're due for another double-double performance.  This Mavs offence has been led by O.J. Mayo who's been scoring in bunches so DeMar may have his hands full on the defensive end on Wednesday.

Philadelphia 76ers @ Toronto Raptors
Saturday, November 10th - 7:00pm EST
The Sixers are a little banged up, they're without their star centre Andrew Bynum as well as Jason Richardson, who apparently tripped up his ankle running over a cameraman this past weekend.  It may be a perfect opportunity for the Raptors to get a win on their Atlantic division rivals.  And hey, the Sixers started Kwame Brown in their last game against the Knicks......yessir, Kwame Brown.  This is a perfect opportunity for a Raps win.
