SLIDE, SLIDE, SLIPPITY, SLIDE - POUND THE ROCK STARS OF THE NIGHT - SIXERS 93, RAPTORS 75

POUND THE ROCK STARS - On a nightly basis, no matter how good or bad the Raps play, no matter if they blow out a team or if they get blown out and no matter if they win or lose, these are the Raptors with the best 'Pound the Rock' status for the night.

FINAL SCORE:    SIXERS 93, RAPTORS 75    SEASON RECORD: 20W-39L

POUND THE ROCK STAR #1: ED DAVIS
LINE:  13 pts, 13 reb, 5 ast
This is perfect time to tank with just seven games left in the season.  And with three D-Leaguers on your roster, you can't really expect much from this Raps team down the stretch.  So who stepped on Wednesday night with Bayless and Bargnani out with injury?  Ed Davis.  He finished with the double double on the night with his 13 points and 13 boards.  It's going to be ugly Raps basketball from here on out, folks.

POUND THE ROCK STAR #2: ALAN ANDERSON
LINE:  13 pts, 3 reb
Pount the Rock Star #2 should really be DeMar DeRozan in these final games but last night it was Alan Anderson? Who? Yes, Alan Anderson who scored 13 points for the Raps to DeMar's 11 points.

POUND THE ROCK STAR #3: AMIR JOHNSON
LINE:  2 pts, 6 boards, 3 blocks
Not a great line....be he gets the shoutout for the highlight block of the night.  Amir had a big swat from behind on Elton Brand.

SHOUTOUTS TO THE SIXERS:
THADDEUS YOUNG
LINE: 17 pts (8-12), 5 reb, 1 stl, 1 blk
The Sixers dominated in the fourth quarter outscoring Toronto 30-18.  Thaddeus Young had an impressive game off the bench for the Sixers but it really didn't take much to defeat this banged up Raps squad who also lost Kleiza and Calderon in this one.

Next up for the Raps: vs BOS
