FINAL SCORE: PISTONS 105, RAPTORS 86 SEASON RECORD: 13W-27L
POUND THE ROCK STAR #1: DEMAR DEROZAN
LINE: 15 pts, 9-10 FT, 5 reb
This was ugly. Sure, Andrea Bargnani returned last night but the Raptors just did not compete at all with the just as inferior Detroit Pistons. Who was the best of last night's blowout? It's tough but I guess it would be DeMar DeRozan who shot the ball terrible (3-10) but made up for it by going to the line ten times. This loss was even uglier than the one against the Bobcats, and that loss was terrible.
POUND THE ROCK STAR #2: GARY FORBES
LINE: 12 pts (4-6), 2 reb, 2 ast
Well, it looks like the Raps have lost Jose Calderon to injury and now without Anthony Carter, Gary Forbes was able to geet some extra minutes in the second half of the blowout last night. Forbes scored 12 points in 16 minutes of play, I'm sure we'll see more minutes from Forbes as long as Jose's out.
POUND THE ROCK STAR #3: ANDREA BARGNANI
LINE: 8 pts, 3 ast, 3 reb
Well, if there was one positive to take back from last night's game. Andrea Bargnani made his return against the Pistons, playing 19 minutes and scoring 8 pts. With the Raps being deep in the hole for pretty much the whole game, this was a good game for Primo Pasta to ease back into playing shape.
SHOUTOUTS TO THE PISTONS:
RODNEY STUCKEY
LINE: 20 pts (8-12), 8 ast, 4 reb
Stuckey has been averaging 21.7 ppg in the Pistons three-game winning streak. That's right. They're are on a three-game winning streak.
