FINAL SCORE: CELTICS 100, RAPS 64 SEASON RECORD: 7W-16L
POUND THE ROCK STAR #1: ED DAVIS
LINE: 10 pts (4-6), 12 rebs, 2 blk
Well, I wouldn't call this a model "Pound The Rock" game for the Raptors as a whole, but when you have to pick out the best of the worst, I guess I'll go with Ed Davis, who put up the double double. This was Davis' second straight double double of the season. And he played extended minutes with 38 minutes of play with Kleiza and Bargnani on the beach.
POUND THE ROCK STAR #2: JERRYD BAYLESS
LINE: 14 pts, 1 rebs, 1 ast
It's kind of ugly when Jerryd's 14 points is your team high in scoring. There was only two players in double figures on the night, Ed Davis and Jerryd Bayless. Welcome to Tank Nation.
POUND THE ROCK STAR #3: SOLOMON ALABI
LINE: 0 pts, 4:34 minutes
When games are this ugly, you have to give Solomon Alabi a shoutout. A season-high 4:34 playing time and one empty stat line. Whattup Solomon!
SHOUTOUTS TO THE C'S:
PAUL PIERCE
LINE: 17 pts, 8 ast, 6 reb
Pierce is closing in on Larry Bird's #2 spot on the Boston Celtics all-time scoring list, trailing by just 60 pts. A 17 pts/8 ast /6 reb line wasn't a bad one for just 25 minutes of play.
Raps fans, this is a game that you just want to forget. But hey... at least the Raps weren't THIS bad:
