What happened in the NBL Canada last night? The Miracles Win the Battle of New Brunswick 1/3/12

Breaking down what happened in the National Basketball League of Canada last night.

MONCTON MIRACLES 102, SAINT JOHN MILL RATS 87
Saint John Top Performers
Greg Plummer -  13 pts, 6 reb, 4 ast, 2 stl
Antoine Tisby - 21 pts, 8 reb, 3 blk


Moncton Top Performers
Trayvon Lathan - 32 pts, 13 reb, 3 ast, 2 blk
Sylvania Watkins - 18 pts (6-13), 11 reb, 4 blk, 2 stl

The Moncton Miracles made a statement last night by putting together one of their biggest wins of the season.  Moncton defeated their New Brunswick rivals 102-87 in their greatest margin of victory this year.  Trayvon Lathan led the way for the Miracles, with his 32-point performance.  Lathan, Sylvania Watkins and Boubacar Coly all finished with double doubles for Moncton.

The Mill Rats on the other hand, shot just 38% on the night and were outrebounded by the Miracles, 65-44.  This was Saint John's fourth loss in five games as the Mill Rats move to 9-10 on the season.
