Well it took twelve games, but they did it. The Moncton Miracles got their first win of the season last night with their 111-102 win over the Summerside Storm. The Storm who were also struggling as of late, lost their sixth straight. Darrell Wonge led the way for the Miracles, dropping a season-high 30 points on the night. Moncton scored a whopping 40 points in the final quarter to close out the Storm.

Coach Rob Spon is showing that his Kebs team is an NBL Canada championship contender. The Kebs are now 8-2 in their last ten games, winning six of their last seven including their 96-82 win over the Oshawa Power last night. The NBL's second-leading scorer, Ralphy Holmes, put up a double double last night for the Kebs, scoring 24 points and grabbing 10 boards. The Power's Tut Ruach (Toronto) had a near triple double with 13 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists.
