The Moncton Miracles walked into the Halifax Metro Centre hungry for their first win, but came up short for the tenth straight game. Former Halifax Rainmen coach, Mike Evans, made his return to Halifax in hopes to get the Miracles first win, but turnovers in the first half proved to be costly for the Miracles. Moncton had 13 of their 21 turnovers in the first half and Halifax was able to capitalize, scoring 16 points off the Moncton turnovers. The Miracles are now 0-10 on the season.
Former Chicago Bulls forward, Eddie Robinson, made his Halifax debut, scoring 7 points and grabbing 5 boards in 20 minutes of play. Lawrence Wright made a big offensive push for Halifax in the third quarter where he scored 11of his 26 points.
Moncton will have to wait until December 13th to try and pull out their first victory when they will be home against the Saint John Mill Rats. The Rainmen have won their fourth straight at home, and will play the Quebec Kebs this upcoming Sunday.
