One of them was Burlington, Ontario's own, Tristan Thompson, who made his NBA debut against his hometown Toronto Raptors on Monday night. And he didn't disappoint. He put up 13 points on 4-6 shooting and grabbed 5 boards in 17 minutes of play. Thompson went head to head with the Raps' Ed Davis on the night, and held his own in the post. It was an impressive performance from the Cavs rookie who didn't show any nerves in front of the Cleveland fans.
The 2011 fourth overall draft pick and the Cavs play their second game of the season against the Detroit Pistons tonight.
