He struggled in last night's game, only shooting 6 for 19, but Chris Bosh came up big when he needed to. Bosh nailed a jumper with just 2.1 seconds to play to help snap the Raps' losing slump. They caught a huge break when Hedo Turkoglu missed his second free throw with 14 seconds to play and regained possession when Atlanta attempted to grab the rebound but turned it over back to the Raps. This gave enough time for Bosh to make the J over Al Horford.
The Raps had a bit of a rough third quarter when the Hawks went on a 12-2 run and outscored the Raps 30-16 but Toronto managed to stick it out in the fourth to pull out the win. CB4 finished with the double double with 14 points, 10 rebounds and the game winner. Bosh also passed the 10,000 points mark, making him the first player in franchise history to accomplish the feat. Andrea Bargnani led the Raps with 22 points and also had a double double with 11 boards (his first double digit rebounding game in exactly one month)
Jamal Crawford torched the Raps from the Hawks' bench, scoring 33 points. Al Horford had a big double double with 18 points and 14 rebounds.
Key Notes:
- Atlanta shot the ball well from three, 61%, making 11-13 from the three point line
- Raps outrebounded the Hawks 46-42
- Raps snap their five-game losing streak, their next three games: OKC, @NJ, @MIN
- Antoine Wright sat this game out (knee)
- DeRozan Watch: 19 pts, 3 rebounds, 1 steal and this sick two-hander
Next up: The Raps take on the OKC Thunder on Friday night...
