RAPTORS 94, PISTONS 64
And you thought Jersey was bad.
With the Pistons without the services of Ben Gordon, Rip Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince, the Pistons struggled to put up any offensive effort at all. The Raptors held the Pistons to just 64 points for the game, a franchise low that dated back to the 50's. Andrea Bargnani led the Raptors with 21 points and 4 rebounds.
To put it in perspective, the Raptors had 54 points by halftime, the Pistons? They got to 54 at the 8:33 mark of the fourth quarter. The Pistons only scored 27 points in the second half an only had 10 team assists. Hedo Turkoglu had 11 points for the Raptors, but also had 11 dimes (one more assist than the Pistons team as a whole)
Will Bynum led the Pistons with 12 pts, 3 assists.
Key Notes:
- The Pistons shot a lousy 28% from the field
- Charlie V played only 12 minutes and did not score
- Raptors now 14-17
- Ben Wallace had a game high 10 rebounds
- DeRozan Watch: 18 minutes, 6 pts, 2 steals
Up next, the Raps take on the Detroit Pistons back in Toronto on Sunday...
